Keeping the words true to the games

Everything readable on this site — rules, paytables, probabilities, guides — is written by the same small desk that builds the games. This page explains the process.

Where the material comes from

Game rules are the standard, long-established rules of each game: Klondike solitaire, Jacks or Better draw poker, and simple dice betting as played at fairs for centuries. Where this site's version makes a choice — draw-three with unlimited passes, a 9/6 paytable, a 2.2× side-bet payout — the page says so explicitly rather than passing it off as universal.

How numbers are checked

Every probability and payout published here is computed from the game's actual configuration — reel strips, dice combinations, deck composition — not copied from elsewhere. When a page says Sunglyph returns about 97% over the long run, that figure is derived from the same numbers the game's code runs on. If the code changed, the page would have to change with it, and that dependency is deliberate.

When content is re-checked

Whenever a game's rules or paytable change, its page and any page referencing it are reviewed before the change ships. Evergreen pages — the guides, this policy, the FAQ — get a read-through whenever the site is updated, and at minimum a couple of times a year.

What we don't publish

No invented statistics, no fabricated testimonials or player counts, no dated news dressed as evergreen fact, and no claims about real-money gambling outcomes. Where we're not certain a fact is true, it stays out.

When we get something wrong

We fix it, promptly and visibly where it matters — the corrections page describes exactly how, and how to tell us.
