What we know about you: almost nothing

The short of it

Drift and Reel Games has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your coin balance and play statistics never leave your device. The only way we ever learn who you are is if you email us.

Data stored on your device

The site keeps two entries in your browser's local storage: one holding your virtual-coin balance and play statistics (for achievements), and one recording that you dismissed the cookie notice. Both stay on your device, are never transmitted to us or anyone else, and disappear if you clear your browser's site data. The cookie policy describes them precisely.

Server logs

Like practically every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages records standard technical logs — IP address, requested URL, browser user-agent, timestamp — for security and reliability. We don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Fonts

Headline fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads. That request includes your IP address, as any web request does. Google's own privacy policy governs its handling; we send Google nothing else about you.

Email

If you write to team@driftandreelgames.com, we see your address and whatever you include. We use it to reply, keep it only as long as the conversation needs, and never add it to any list — we don't have lists.

Children

The site is for adults aged 20 and over. It isn't directed at children and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone, of any age.

Your choices

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes everything the site stored — coins, statistics, achievements and the notice preference — instantly and completely. There's nothing to request from us because we hold nothing.
